We’ve been using our mat for our senior dog. We added on the waterproof covers, and it’s been great to have the option to use it as a single layer or folded up. We wash the covers pretty regularly. One tip is that the waterproof cover zippers can still leak, so if you’re likely to have spills in the middle it’s good to put the zippers on the sides. Old dog approved!
